You could also try opening the manual in your internet browser, sometimes that is a work around.

Hi xavierm and welcome to the forum.
You should have had a manual downloaded when you installed your game. Look in the game folder. You will find a folder called "Manuals." In that folder you will find two manuals.

The AARs in this forum host many excellent examples of play. The threads of this forum also have many informative discussions.
