Thu Dec 03, 2015 4:05 pm

The seeds of the French Revolution have borne fruit and now turmoil is spreading out over all of Europe. The growing power of the French Republic is threatening the old monarchies and already two Coalitions have been raised to crush the Revolutionary Armies.

But something has changed. A new leader has emerged from the chaos of the Directoire, a man that will shortly become the scourge of every European kingdom. He will shatter the Old Continent to its foundations.
A new period of war has begun...

Today, the ultimate wargame set during the Napoleonic Era has been finally released! Developed by the veteran strategy studio, Ageod, Wars of Napoleon is a title about grand strategy and bold diplomatic choices.

Fight on land and on the seas, in a detailed map with over 4,000 regions as well asspecial areas like the West Indies, North America, Persia and India!

Create powerful alliances to counter your enemy, draft your population, use smugglers, develop your territories; all using a very in-depth diplomacy system, with casus-belli, coalitions, defensive treaties], passage rights and more!

Just bought the game, I simply want to thank AGEOD and all other people (volunteers, QA people, beta testers) for giving us this game. I have been waiting for this ever since Napoleon Campaigns 2 got canceled and turned into March of the Eagles. Off to play for a bit, will post some feedback later on today or tomorrow.

I second all of this! Have been waiting since March of the Eagles, as well. I'll be downloading today, and I look forward to adding it to my Steam Library, too. Thank you, AGEOD, for all of your hard work!

just downloading now.

its an interesting departure for AGEOD, its less scripted than many of their titles, but it has lots of flavour and captures the essence of the period beautifully. As Napoleon once muttered ... allies are often a bigger problem than enemies and that is a key part of the design. Its a long long way from the usual space 4x that paradox managed to reduce the original redesign to.
AJE The Hero, The Traitor and The Barbarian
PoN Manufacturing Italy; A clear bright sun
RoP The Mightiest Empires Fall
WIA Burning down the Houses; Wars in America; The Tea Wars
