Bizarre AI Spawning of Units - Really needs Fixing

Evening all,

For the third time in four months the AI has spawned units deep in occupied territory ... I'm playing as Russia, campaign game, latest game patch 17 Feb , game time 8-15 May 1806 - France spawns a siege arty, 2 x supply wagons, logistic depot and a Corps HQ in Saint Petersburg! This is the second time for this particular mix of units. As a player against the AI it seems seldom worth building foot Arty or supply units as the AI gives them to you for free!!! Please fix it really takes away from the game. Also the wandering AI artillery and supply wagons around the front lines is very troubling ...

The game has a memory leak that changes the location of units.

Thanks BruceASinger; but I am really hoping to hear from AGEOD how they are going with fixing these issues and the Diplomatic engine disasters .........

Do other AGEOD Games have the same issue?

My guess right now is somehow the AI is building in the wrong locations.

How does a French Costal Battery get to the Middle of Hesse when it takes longer to get back to the closest coast city than the game has been played. The memory location that holds the location of the unit is overwritten by something else and changes the location of the unit and it "Teleports" to the new location.

Russian Depots showing up in the middle of Switzerland. Russian river boats showing up on French Rivers. Spanish Artillery showing up all over France. Except for the Spanish Artillery, none of things can move there in less that 6 months.

In two games {One with the Feb 04 beta and one with the Feb 17 beta} Russia surrendered after a couple of supply depots, supply brigrades, and artillery units "Appeared" in the mountains of Switzerland and I sent a Stack to take them out. The resounding victory caused Russia to Surrender. I guess it might be possible for the artillery units and supply brigades to go through Barvia and the Moutains of Austria while my troops where there chasing down the scattered remains of the Austrian army. But highly unlikely. As for the Supply Depots. No way. If Russia has sent them there at the beginning of the game, there still would have been enough time for them to move there normally.

You tell me how else unit's "Teleport", "Appear", or what ever term you want to use for moving with out following the normal movement rules.
