Hi gents,

To switch to German or Spanish, you need to edit a configuration file.

Please open the installation directory of EAW. You can find it by doing a right click on the EAW icon on your desktop, accessing properties and seeing where it points to.

Then, once you found End all Wars, open EAW\Settings

You should see several files, one being named General.opt. Open it with a text editor like Windows regular Notepad (eeerk) or Notepad++ (gg!).

Now please edit the entries below

Language = 3
ThirdLanguage = 3

3 for German, 2 for Spanish. If you are an English or French user, you can change language in game directly. If you set German or Spanish you can revert to English in game also.

This way is a bit awkward, isn't it?

This is a public beta patch, the installer for the general public will probably ask you the language you want directly and edit for you the file.

The translation in the german language in the game is a little bit buggy.
Some text appear in the news box in english and english german.
One text in the warplan description appears in spanish.
Is this possible for me to changing this??
When I switch on French language many text are in english, too.

Update: in the LocalStrings_EAW.csv is in row 9745 an error in the text for el Alineamiento is an ; that must be an ,.
And in the begin from the spanish text Plan König is an " inside, and on the end behind Varios: Ninguno.
