but yeah... sometimes it's a little difficult to sift through all the information the game is throwing at you.
eg. yay! i'm finally able to distinguish the Commander in Chief indicator from the Army Group leader indicator -
wow, that one kept me up all night! but i found it. (btw, CiC is the blinking one.)

anyhow, searching for the right guy is a click-fest to say the least.
would be great to have your leader units sorted by seniority and other stats...
so, how about some RegEx? this one always makes me feel damn stupid - am i lazy or just a click-the-GUI-with-mousepointer-guy? dunno? here's my magical amateur regex line (yeah... ik, it's no 'real' regex. but i'm lazy and it works...) for searching goodness in (for example) notepad++:
Code: Select all
(Ability|VPValue|POLValue|LeaderRank|Seniority|MaxRank|CanBeGHQStack|CanBeHQStack|LandLeader|NavalLeader|Promotable|Strategic|Offensive|Defensive)
just point this bad man to your EAW/GameData/Models directory and BOMBS AWAY!

(attached you'll find a cleaned-up version of the results - for your viewing pleasure.)
which brings me to my question(request if you will):
how do you sift, sort and find the information you're looking for?
any tricks, excel sheets, database crawlers up your sleeves?
please tell your magic (regex is just fine....)
thanks for considering!
