I Installed from steam but the load screen says: 1.03.1

Welcome to the forum. I do not know anything about steam versions, but if it is the same as non-steam, just run as an administrator.

Thanks for the suggestion. Manually starting eaw.exe as administrator doesn’t seem to make any difference. I have tried on two different pc’s as well.

Really irritating. Guess I’m going to play strategic command world war one instead.

Updating to the Beta patch allowed me to get further and removing the read-only attribute from the folder and running as administrator seems to allow me to run the game.
