Music files - are they customisable?

Sat Sep 20, 2014 2:20 pm

Technical question on the music files; they all start with MUS and are MP3 files. Does the game play the music files according to a set script, selecting ONLY the ones in the game at the start, or does it just randomly select any file with the MUSxxx name?
By this, if I add my own WW1 favourites to the sounds folder will they get played, or not?
thanks

You can add any MP3, file naming convention is not important right now but might be if 'national musics' are activated one day. If you add a mp3, edit musics.ini also.

This is no problem, you can either run a playlist in Winamp (the simple solution) or make your own music files for the game (requires some work). We have made 2 music mods for Espana 36, if you download one of the mods it should basically teach you how it is done
