Thanks for the files, but it is not really helping, can you described shortly how and when it happened?

It's happened twice to me over three days. I can't pin down what does it, though. The engine will be processing days when suddenly... the "critical error" dialog box pops up. Nothing ends up in the logs or anything.

It happened after I pressed the "Next Turn" button during battle resolution...
