How does PBEM work with this?

Not sure if this forum is alive anymore. Guess I discovered the game a tad too late. It's a fantastic one though. I'd say that it is to WW1 what GGWiE is to WW2.


Couple of questions on PBEM

1. How does it work? Can't find any internal interface for it. Do you have to manually exchange save game files via e-mail?
2. Can 2 players play the grand campaign, or is it only for 3 players? (1 takes the CP, the other both WE and EE?)
3. Is there a community / discord / reddit server where I can find opponents?

Yes, the procedure to PBEM is through exchanging files, it is explained in the manual, pages 10-12.

One player may play both entente factions following the procedure.

I do not know of any Discord or Reddit server. Durk has recommended several times this site, I do not know how active it is.

Ok thanks. Which updates do you recommend? Not sure if I should do 1.04 beta + 1.0 bug fix or the official 1.03.01
