Fri Jan 23, 2015 3:09 am

This one you have no choice, it is a scenario set up feature. You can mod, but otherwise, live with it.

Yes, it's possible to make an event removing it, but baring that, no luck.

I meant modding. All I need to know is what command to use in making the event

You need to write an event using this:
http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/ChangeFacMorale

Put it near the end of all events so it runs last.
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!

Apologies, you should use http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/RulSuddenDeath setting value = 0
The other reference will adjust the morale, but not switch off sudden death.

Use a text editor [NotePad] on the "main" event file for the campaign or scenario you are playing
Look in \EAW\Events for the file.

Example, for the Great War campaign, open 3 - The Great War.sct

Paste this at the end of the file, save and close:

SelectFaction = CMN
SelectRegion = $Berlin

StartEvent = evt_nam_SuddenDeathOff|1|0|NULL|NULL|$Berlin|NULL

Conditions

Actions
RulSuddenDeath = 0

EndEvent

It even will work with a saved game, I think...

Yea its to offset when I get a ridiculous amount of NM as CP carrying out the Schlieffen Plan.

I just want these massive morale swings not to happen

Once winter sets in after September the front quiets down so there's no need for for blocking changes anymore.

The way I see it both sides should start with what they already have and not go higher than 100 NM. It should be more about trying to keep NM up while support slowly pushes you to peace
