Munitions factory bug ?

Thu Oct 02, 2014 1:40 pm

Western Front scenario. I wanted to see if the previous bug in building munitions factories has been fixed. Something has changed but is this WAD ? I can go on placing them after I have run out of war supply and engagement points. The engagement points even go negative. It happens in the campaign game as well, just advance past the first turn.

Have you tried advancing the turn RGA to see what happens, I think the game will only build the factories you can afford, also I am not sure but I think the game may borrow EP and WS from the next turn total...

I know that's the case. I've accidentally not paid attention and built a lot of them
only to discover only a couple were built and not the rest due to a lack of funds
or WS.

Thanks for the explanation. Maybe this is something that could be looked at a for a future patch.

I would actually prefer it worked this way. You can engage in limited deficit spending in CW2 if you're willing to endure the potential consequences.

This was an interface glitch which will be fixed in the next public beta patch.

Is it purely a cosmetic glitch?

Thanks

Yes, in the sense that even if you could request a factory during your turn, the hosting phase would bar you from doing that, as you don't have the resources in the end. The interface was not updating correctly during your turn, that's the why.
