We don't know when the real patch is complete, but the "fist" patch can be issued for all who cannot wait.

Wish it was Christmas already .. ;)

A world undone is a really great book, very in depth but flows well..

Also Max Hastings Catastrophe is a good description of how Europe decended into war...

I have ordered beneath hill 60, looking forward to watching it :)

Dose anybody know of any other modern movies on world war one?

no good ones, I am afraid. Merry Christmas was acceptable. All others I have seen were idiotic.

I am sure you know The Great War? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXhiagFG8KE

pre 1990 ones there were better films, The Lighthorsemen comes to mind. Gallipoli was also ok. And several greast films about pilots, Aces High, The Blue Max ..

Striking that no one from the AGEOD team took the floor here.

Not really because they already announced that the first patch will be out in a matter of months a couple of weeks or so ago. Until they have a definite release date for the patch, what more can they say? Their precious time is better spent fixing the game than on holding our hands during the wait.

Pocus in another thread on the forums said yesterday that a public beta will be out very very soon, sounds promising :)

I have been waiting for the patch. I thought I might play another game before that, but just have not been motivated to do so.

Same here. I don't want to invest any time in the game until the patch is out. Would rather have a date when the patch will be expected than being told it will be available 'soon'.

I also stopped playing since they announced a patch was coming, since I don't want to restart from scratch in the middle of a campaign.

I feel the same as you guys, I am playing CW2 while waiting eagerly for the EAW patch...

I can see why the ageod guys and betas don't want to make any fixed promises, if they do that then have a set back in the private beta testing people will be more annoyed because they will feel that ageod didn't keep there promised release date for the patch...

Do you guys see what I mean?
