If I purchase on steam...

Fri Aug 01, 2014 10:39 am

Will I be able to buy the printed manual separately from your store?

I would much prefer to own the game on steam but I would also like a nice manual, which I read you get with the boxed versions. Is there any flexibility with regards to this?

thanks.

There is a print on demand service, I don't know though if you can ask for a manual in this case, you should probably contact the helpdesk to be sure: support@slitherine.co.uk

If you buy it on Steam though, then it will be slightly more difficult to apply public beta patches, if you are in this sort of things.

I am pretty sure you get a Steam key even if you buy it at Slitherine directly. At least that is how it works for every other Slitherine game on Steam.

I think bob is exactly right. CW2 and The Great War both allowed you to get a Steam key for free, if you owned the version bought directly from Slitherine/Ageod/Matrix. Distant Worlds, too.

So, we can now know that it WILL be on Steam and make sure you buy it here and then get your Steam key. Kudos for the way Ageod and Slitherine do this.

Exactly. The game will be released tomorrow at Ageod and matrix and on Friday on Steam. Each buyer at Ageod or Matrix can register their game and get a Steam redeem key.
