To confirm this happens and a save. Bascially in early 1862 the US civil war ended in a white peace. The US was clearly winning and the war was active. Also its a 'full war' so shouldn't end early.

I've got massive internet problems so really hard to provide saves. But the wetransfer link gives the turn before and the turn when the white peace occured:

It is known that scripted event ending wars are ending them in white peace, did you check if there is any event doing that? Or do you believe it is generated by the AI?

I'm not sure.

The war was very active, I was seeing the naval combat image during turn resolution and provinces change to Union control etc. So it really shouldn't have been the auto-white peace event.

On the other hand, you as a player, can't make peace in the context of a Full war till the period has expired. So don't think the AI could manage to do that either.

The event script just said the war had ended
