I think they must have suffered from a major design error. We have these roads here where you're supposed to be able to operate your horseless carriage at nearly its full velocity. But when you get on these roads, suddenly all the horseless carriage suffer from a massive, simultaneous system failure, because immediately none of them can move much faster than a walking pace .
