Has anybody been working on mods for the unit pictures so there is a little more variety? It would be easy enough to change which picture the unit references and give the game some more flavor.

These are absolutely amazing. What software did you use to make these?

Here's something you might like. These portraits come from Battle Plan: American Civil War. What I like about these are how the uniforms look, even though it's only the shoulder up. The Union portraits generally have newer looking uniforms, with standard issued kepis. The Confederate portraits generally have older, wore down uniforms with slouch hats from home. It's just my opinion, some people might not like these since it's different from usual.

There is a really nice set about which I downloaded but I can't find where I got it from, somewhere in the forums here! I think JohnDenver also had them in his mod so that is possibly somewhere you could get it from.

The folder name I had it under was Modnuevosv1

Thank you for providing the link Picaron .. I really like your work with these and the others in that thread. Loved that Black Hat Brigade portrait so much that I had to go and create a specific model just for those regiments.

They look really good on the units in game.

I had just been looking in the CW2 forums but must have come across them in the post you have linked a while back. I did not want to re-upload them without providing due credit

Check Johan Denver's mod in this mod forum and look in the files for the unit graphics (army, portrait, unit). He has a great number of good alternative pictures in there!
