No replay in PBEM?

Sat Oct 18, 2014 4:41 pm

Just started a PBEM game of Espana. I just executed the first turn and the turn executed as normal. However when I went to the save file, I noticed the trn files are there but there are no replay files. Does Espana support replay for PBEMs? Are replays automatic in Espana or is there some sort of option we have to turn on?

I think you can do it cjanging the value inoreplay to 1. It is in the "general" file in the settings folder.

// Replay
inoReplay = 0

means no replay
And

// Replay
inoReplay = 1

means replay

Maybe with the replay we can see what did others, without the FoW, that's why it was not active?

I will check on the next turn. If we can see all activity for both sides, it is better turned off. Next turn won't be till Thursday.

I have just done the file change Leibstandarte suggested and it worked for me.

I see a couple units which it seems I probably shouldn't see but the great mass of the enemy is not visible. Otherwise with replay turned on, it works fine.

Well, this is actually very good as it means replay works for you. España 1936 is actually very different as to what you can see as loyalty is so mixed up. Are the units you are seeing in areas where you have limited or not loyalty or control?

Yes, that is it. The odd units I can see are located in areas with higher National loyalty.
