Longstreet came back with massive reinforcements with Gen Bee and company. We are now under siege in Suffolk.
This General has been a serious pain to our operations in VA.
Gen Jackson came out of the shadows and put a serious blow to us lifting our siege of Strasburg VA.
Do not worry friends of the North, we have many men mobilizing to head south the push on for our cause!

This scourge of the high seas has been doing a phenomenal job wrecking every CSN he comes in contact with.
Going after the CSS Mananas and landing sailors off the Panhandle will take place during this turn.
Shields has done a wonderful job leading troops in his campaigns in WV and KY but I am very worried about the force south of him led by the other Johnston.
Buell has been a great help in the frontier fights.
Conferderate Marines and Sailors beating to quarters
Their Navy is no match...
3 cheers for our naval victories!

Williamsburg is taken. Just to see what the Rebs will do I will move Stone to the outskirts of Richmond and build an outpost. I am electing to move McDowell's Army of NE Virginia to engage Hoke to my southeast.
We steamrolled Hoke
The battle looked something like this
Still have not taken Laredo
Action around the Mississippi are looking quite now that we have flooded the area with reinforcements.
Grant's men made it across the river and linked up with other forces in the AO. Expect ambitious raid to go down the river with gunboat support to attack Vicksburg or New Orleans by going south on the river.

We are swallowing up Florida from our naval landings
We took Blounstown with no force needed. We will stay here to refit and head down to the cape soon.
This will do nicely for a rest.
A look at operation in Northern Va. This will get hectic soon.
We are going to be aggresive to a point. We will head to Richmon with McDowell but will try not to engauge but to apply a siege. We hope this geos well. Meanwile Stone is in the outskirts with his small force building an outpost. I have militia coming from Deleware by boat to occupy Williamsburg and James City Va.
We are going to hold the rebs down in Fredricksburg as long as we can with our Army of the Potomac.
General Wallace put up a great fight but is pushed back. Fear not, The rest of the Army of the Potomac is on the way over to hold the siege down.
Gen Summer in Northern MO is finally doing something with more men given to him at his disposal.
The calm before the storm at Munfordville KY. I am dug in if Johnston chooses to engage me. I have more men hidden away in the town.
Posted: Sun Feb 14, 2016 6:06 pm
If the rebs do choose to attack Munfordville, it will be bloody!
After taking Prestonburg KY, Gen Buell has orders to invade Western Va. He then will plunder his way to Richmond every town he come in contact with.
His March to Richmond will make the South pay dearly.
You can see the south is sending men to bulk up defenses of Richmond via rail.

Heading down the Mississippi, The Army of the West is victorious.
Ft. Sumter is on its last legs it appears. The best thing about this is it has kept Gen Huger occupied.
Caught a rebel transport on the Ohio River and sank it fast along with all the men on board.
I was proud of our men and how they fought at Richmond. Notice the leadership the South had present. We are pushed back but not beaten.
Longstreet left from Petersburg to repel Butler. We will again move back to Suffolk.
Posted: Sun Feb 14, 2016 6:42 pm
Now that we have reached the outskirts of Richmond, I expect this song to be played by the rebs.
Posted: Sun Feb 14, 2016 9:17 pm
The Union Thunder and Lighting has been established on the right flank, that force is led by General Whipple.
Prepare for an avalanche on the right flank by our men of blue now that the CSA has had to withdraw to defend Richmond.

Banks has captured Fredricksburg, now let us move south with our corps to assist the assault and siege of Richmond.

Chapter 5 - Time to Tighten the Noose
Our men are on the outskirts of Richmond, if the capitol falls the conflict will be over soon.
It is cat and mouse chasing in the swamps of Florida.
Johnston elected to go support the fight along the Mississippi so we will advance south towards Nashville.
Pope is in for a stir of trouble with Johnston approaching from the south.
In a unpredictable turn of events, Johnston goes back east to attack our advancing armies towards Nashville. We eliminate some of there units but we take heavy casualties.
Tuscon is still holding out.

Ft. Scott has fallen, we might raze this fort to keep it out of Rebel hands.

Operations around Island 10 and New Madrid are doing well. Partly due to poor moves by the Rebels not committing to a flank with our invading forces in TN.
General Pope once again inflicts heavy casualties on to an unlucky and neglected group of Rebs. Johnston is leading a poor campaign against us thus far.
Meanwhile in Richmond, the other Johnston is doing well fighting off our initial siege forces. Supporting Generals like Jackson and Stewart are present in the fight.

Nearly finished off these terrorists.
Grant encountered Baylor and thrashed him.

Richmond is quite a feet to take but the CSA is not giving up Petersburg easily either.
The Rebels in their attempt to lift the siege of Petersburg sent at least a third of their troops from their defenses of Richmond. This might be the break we need to slip into the capitol. Butler was beaten badly but created a great distraction away from Richmond.
Our invasion of TN is going according to plan.
We are sitting tight and not going anywhere despite our loses.
The forts near the Kansas and MO border have become a chore to hold. We will raze then for now on if we lose them and retake them.

If things get serious up here with these fancy dressed natives I might need to send up the cavalry.
The Army of the Potomac including most of its corps surround Manchester VA and suffer heavy casualties. We have more more on the way to fill the ranks.
