Charismatic Trait

Wed Oct 19, 2022 4:31 pm

Why was the decision made to only have Charismatic apply when the general is stack leader? It sucks that Jackson, Hood or Sherman can't give a division +5 cohesion and +25% recovery.

Speaking of recovery, why does good camp administrator not grant it's recovery to divisions either? How often is Breckenridge stack leader in this game? Or some other random 3/2/2 with good camp administrator?

I wish we could see a patch for stuff like this, if CW3 isn't going to materialize anytime soon. It's not like these changes (and other minor bug fixes) would take large amounts of effort.

Actually, it would require significant efforts, as the difference is between looking at who is the commander, and looking at all leaders, each turn, to see what effect they can produce.
Moreover, it would also mean potential abuse, as you could stack abilities. To which limit?

All that needs be done is take the code from one of the many traits which effects the whole stack, like Cavalryman, and apply it to Charismatic and/or Good Camp Administrator.

Which traits could be stacked? 2 Charismatics? That actually sounds cool, but would be an infrequent occurrence.
