Do you use the Battle Planner? Yes/No why?

I turned it off as I don't know enough of what I am doing.

Thanks.

I use it. It's a little more involved than "rock-paper- scissors". Depending on your leader's assessment, you see what might be the enemy plans. So I go through every choice my guy gets to see which one gives me the best advantage(s). That choice is the winner. Remember, the leader's assessment may be wrong and the enemy might surprise you. This adds a little more excitement to what the AI (respectfully named Athena by the gamers) does.

I like using it. You can always go with what the AI recommends if you feel stuck, but
it makes battles feel a little less uncontrollable.

I thought that's what the prayer to the Almighty is for?

I still get a kick out of the general speeches in Rome 1. The speeches in Shogun 2 are not bad, but not as varied.
