1.04 - Check for Update Error

When clicking "Check for Update," this results [see image]. Windows 8.1 ... clean installation: version 1.00 --> 1.03 [BRS] --> 1.04

I got the same error. Tried a second time and the update worked fine.

I can never get it to work. Per Pocus, I sent an e-mail to Slitherine. No response, yet.

Try it in Admin mode, e.g. start the main program as administrator.

As per Slitherine support, this issue is resolved. I did a clean install and updated from 1,03 to 1.04 via the in-game updater rather than the patch found here. According to them, doing that sometimes corrupts the updater. So, that's that! :-)
