What happened to Hooker?

Mon Sep 30, 2013 10:57 pm

On my second or third turn of Coming Fury, I was pleased to see Hooker show up in the Army of the Potomac - he has decent stats. I created a small force and sent him to tangle with forces in the Shenandoah Valley. The next turn, poof, he was gone. I didn't see any reports of battle. Is there a function that will allow me to easily search for him?

He ran off with some 'ladies of the night'?

Did his whole army disappear?!

The ledger should allow you to find him.

I found him, but not through the ledger, which no longer shows commanders (that I'm aware of). I looked at the battle, retreat, and siege messages and see that he is recovering from injuries in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, after a battle in Fairfax, Virginia. The forces I was directing him to attack were actually over in New Castle, Delaware.

Not by name. But if you hover the mouse over the stats you get the name. Sorting by name instead of stats, or at least another column so we could have both, would be better I think.

There is a switch in F1 window which lets you see individual units, not stacks. Use the switch and then use filter non general units icon. All you generals should be listed there.

The lesson in all this?

You can press F1 to find a Hooker. :eyebrow:

Or you could have Judson Killcavalry hook you up.
