AACW forum has great info for newcomers learning ACW II

Fri Sep 20, 2013 10:49 pm

Now that I am finally bitten and smitten with an AGEOD title, I am finding alot of great help learning the game from all the documentation on the AACW forum. The sticky Useful Threads for Beginners over there is loaded. (sorry I would put link here but I do not know how yet). Obviously, some of the information is not applicable in areas where the UI has changed or features have been added, but underlying concepts of the AGEOD engine and game are still there to be gleaned. I am using the turn checklists right now (there is one for Union and one for Confederate side) to help me develop my own playing a turn style by using that as a template to get me started. Thanks for all the work by so many to help others learn and enjoy.
