Japan only crashes

Hi to everyone!
Im playing with the Steam version of the game, Playing as Japan, in both 1850GC and the 1880GC, every time, after 2 years in game, the game crashes righ after I press the "Next turn" bottom. This heppen ONLY with Japan

That's a DLL crash so it is weird it happens only for a single faction. Perhaps that's just some randomness that made you think it happens only for Japan, but my guess it will happen to any nation. A combination of the Windows version and the old engine not going along well.

Try to see if it happens again and systematically when you restart from a previous turn. Also use 'run as administrator' if possible.-

I have more than 4000 hrs into PON, and I can assure you 100% this only happen with Japan and I tried everything! :bonk: but nothing works... :crying:

... just an idea... if you play not only for Japan - could you revert Japan faction to AI and 1 or 2 turns run the game with Japan led by AI.
If you play single for Japan then you may run previous turn, activate another faction and Japan revert to AI. If the game will not crush you can activate Japan faction again in the next turn.

Who knows...

Just a quick update on the situation, I started the 1880 G.C. as Japan (obviuosly) and, actually there are 2 types od crashes, the one who randomly heppen during the process of the turn (much rare), and the one who heppen at the end pof the turn, this in particular drive me to the error message "Access Violation" which is connected to DirectX.
Anyway I'm at 1891, and the game still works at an acceptable level...
