DLC and Steam versions

Will DLC bought here work with Steam versions? Steam at this time has no option to purchase the DLC.

Yes you can always patch up or apply DLC to Steam versions of any of our game, but if you do so, be sure to disable auto-update, for this game, in Steam.

I bought PON through Steam more than a year ago. The game ran reasonably well. I recently moved to a new country and got a different computer. I tried downloading the game again from Steam and it turns out they don't support PON anymore. I realise there is a patch 1.03e. How do I install this patch into a steam version? I can see many subfolders in the Steam folder in my computer, but there doesn't seem to be PON specific folder.
