External PON AAR: United Kingdom

I have been doing a (very slow) AAR of PON on my blog that I thought people here might like to read. I took a hiatus about a year ago while I was waiting for the June 2017 patch to be posted and was meaning to get back into it but life has gotten in the way. Now I have some more time, I have greatly enjoyed diving back into the world of PON!

Blogger orders posts in reverse chronological order which is annoying. But anyway here are the first year of posts. The rest of them are all tagged "Pride of Nations" which you can use to see the link to each post.

I've only just reached the end of 1851 so it is still very early days. I am sure I'm making a lot of mistakes so happy to hear any comments, suggestions or ideas!

Thanks for this, it's a great read.

I always want to get into PON properly, but the size and length of the game, and the complexity of the economic model always mean I get sidetracked after only a few turns. So it's all the more fascinating to read others' frolics into what is indubitably a very rich game.

Cheers!

Thanks! I am trying to be as transparent and granular as I can about what I'm doing to help explain to others what the game involves and what to do (and not to do). I hope it inspires others to dive into this great game.
