Why my reinforcements never land to Rhodos ?

Thu Nov 01, 2012 1:37 pm

Since 2 turns I try to land reinforcements to Rhodos Island, and they stay in ships...

Last turn I tried with a drag an drop, the reinforcements were to meet the troops already at Rhodos : no effect... Problem : Troops at Rhodos will die of hunger... There are supply wagons in the ships... :bonk:

Here are the scripts files. Do you need saved files ?

Thank-you.

no need for scripts I think, but the saved game (HST + TRN + ORD) ...

Just to be clear, you plan a move and it don't work, right?

Yes it is.

This is the current turn and the backup 1.

Notice that at Rodhos, my optimate opponent (Lilan) has an other problem, he put his surrounded army in an offensive attitude, but never battle occure... Since few turns. Don't know if the two problems are only one.

Maybe it has something to do with the very low cohesion of your forces?

Possible. Don't know, since 2 turns, if they can't land because low cohesion, or if the cohesion is low because they stay in ships since 2 turns. What is the egg, what is the hen...

Hi, Boudi

Tried your backup save and gave the distant unload order to the fleet, selecting Rhodus as the destination. First turn it did not work because the Rhodian fleet attacked the pontic fleet. Next turn I gave again the order (with AI OFF :) ) and Taxiles army disembarked in Rhodus:

It all seems WAD to me...

Suprising, because when my troop refused to land, no naval battle occured during my game. Maybe i was unlucky...

But no matter, Thank you very much Franciscus for your help.
