Is this WAD or a bug?

Roman general losing 2 battles in succession:

Yet this consul is now at 1 seniority! He actually gained seniority from these battles?!? At the same time the Carthaginian general loses seniority for battles that he wins. How can this be?

AFAIK, commanders gain seniority based on their performance in battle, not based on wether they win or lose a battle. Since the Carthaginians lost more elements than the Romans I think Valerius is considered to have excelled in commanding his outnumbered forces against a superior enmy, while Hanno on the other hand is blamed for it.

Hm, I understand. I considered this already, but then I think this should be reworked a bit. The problem is that in the BOR scenarios where it's always Romans vs non-Romans and never equal forces, usually the Roman troops are vastly better compared to their size. This means that the Romans pretty much always gain seniority.
