Replacement screen font colour

Mon Apr 06, 2015 1:48 am

Hi

In the replacement screen, numbers appear above the Nato symbol for each unit to indicate losses.
Sometimes this number is black and sometimes its is red.

Could someone please tell me what the different font colours signify

many thanks

Mark

Red means you need to buy replacements asap, you've got lots of hits missing from units.

Black is just the normal way of displaying number of hits missing.
It is only put in red when you have lots of hits missing.

That for your answers

You have explained things as I have expected them to be however.....it does not seem to apply to what I am seeing

I cannot see a pattern in the red font numbers. Sometimes the red font appears when the number is tiny and with black fonts for larger numbers...sometimes there are large numbers in black and none in red
The tool tip to the left of the number does not help regarding this either

regards

It is done as something of a percentage of total hits per troop type.
So say you have 60 elements of Roman infantry in the game and these are missing 50 hits, this is not a great deal, the number will then be in black.
On the other hand if you only have 5 elements of Roman cavalry in the game and these are missing 50 hits, a much higher percentage, the number will then be in red.
