Engine comment - wouldn't it be great if the AI worked in the background?

I'm assuming someone's brought this up before and it's technically difficult, but it would make the game _much_ nicer if the AI 'thought' while you were thinking. The experience would be much snappier.

Can we pay for a DLC for this? :P

i dont really see the point, the AI is much faster than me at deciding what to do.....it takes about 10-20 seconds to process a turn for me in BOR


however thinking about it, anything that would speed up PON is welcome :)

PON of course..the PON "engine" is different in a lot of ways to the other titles...

I love PrON, but it definitely needs such time-efficient adjustments.

Stardock's Gal Civ 2 had AI working while you played your turn. No matter how massive the game had gotten the turn was resolved almost instantly.
