Setting File Code to Turn off Sound/ Music?

What numerical settings in the settings file


1. *** Sound media options ***
LoadSounds = 1
PlayMusic = 0


are needed to kill all music

are needed to kill all sound effects?

I at times need to turn it off/on before the game loads, or just leave it off permanently.

in the 1990s we use the mute button, turned the speaker off etc, but ok, fair enough:

i think both off would be

1. *** Sound media options ***
LoadSounds = 0
PlayMusic = 1
...
MusicDelay = 0[

is saved for "ALL OFF"

I thought the "no delay" logically meant immediate music rather than none.

Thanks for your help. I am used to separate volume controls for music and effects (soft background music, louder effects is my preference).
