CUltural differences and Unit Command cost

Sun Sep 30, 2012 11:31 am

In manual it's stated: "Increased or Decreased Command Costs are used to represent cultural differences in command and control
methodologies between nationalities."
That's fine but in game there's no clear indication (in pop up info or whatever you wish) of the increased cost due to cultural differences.

Example. Vitellian generals got in their armies also germanic forces. Command cost that appears in pop up info is 1 CP but the truth is that the command cost for roman generals is much more higher (3x 4x or who knows?). The only way to know the REAL command cost is to put the german unit out of stack and see the new GLOBAL (for the stack) command point cost. The difference from old and new is the command cost of that "exotic" unit.

Is possible to provide this info directly on game interface, please ?

The malus is x4.

Usually, the "culture" is easy to glance at as it corresponds to the "color" of the unit. In the case of the Germanic forces, unfortunately, there was a mistake and they share the same color.

I believe it has been added to the "punch list" of the developers. I definitely saw the issue being raised in the beta forum.
