Very interesting mod, I am attentive to the news.

By the way, I heard there were a few White Russians fighting for General Franco, who they called "The Spanish Kornilov". General Miller, the head of the Russian All-Military Union the successor of the White Armies in Russia, I heard worked on sending more officers to General Franco but he was kidnapped before he could do much. So, these two civil wars even have some common participants. :)

IIRC some makhnovists fought there too. Makhno himself talked about Spanish politics, but he was so sick in Paris (and look after by police), and died in 1934. His sickness from young prison life catched him back and killed him, not the many bullets with about ten big injuries... (there are some modern stories, under other names, where he is said a vampyre, or even an immortal in Highlander).

It could be an event giving some conscripts representing the White Russians.

Here the Irish Catholics volunteers

Gracias FENRIS, esas palabras me dan animo a seguir. todo solito pero arropado por todos vosotros que tambien se nota.

One new screen.
In October 1936 Nationalist begun to create new units with African volunteers.
Also some spanish troop units like the Cazadores. Historically they were created in North Africa but in the game they will be created in Andalucia.

Some of this new units fought historically in the first great Battle of the war, The Jarama battle.

The initial screen, while loading the game.

When i enter here i feel like when i was a child and use yogurt boxes with cotton to plant beans :p apy:

Quality is hard to select, i usually use a basic value for regular units and move over or under it to have elite or militia units... maybe here 1 star can represent regular units (trained but not tested in combat or very few combat experience) 2 stars for elite units (maybe 3 in very special units) and 0 as standar in all militia/new units and combat values could be the diference between them.

Or you can add propaganda events, you can use political points to launch one that provide an increase in conscripts or at least reduce their cost in money/morale.

PD: ummm maybe i am wrong but the irish volunters suffer a lot in combat thanks to incompetent command and lack of combat value.

By the way, Leibstandarte what do you use to "draw" your units? I am working on new RUS mdl files now, tried using the "Paint" program, but found it very inconvenient.

Thanks Picaron.

But it seems my windows is a bit too old for the newest versions, I will search for a one that is older.
Edit: Found version 3.31, works well. Thanks again Picaron!

i agree, it gives more fun to the game and it makes easier to feel into the atmosphere of the game.
I was thinking about the possibilities that will give to AACW 2....

Many thanks Pangi,
At a first glance im happy with the moorish troops, the Guardia Civil, the cavalry and these international are very good.
Critics: remove that shoes and use boots without the WWI bands (in spanish we say polainas i dont know its translation). The Marine troops wear in withe not in blue.
Cant you use my italians pictures as base and retouch them? i could send them to you.

thanks for the good work!
