Crash when turn resolved

Tue Jun 26, 2012 10:59 pm

My game keeps crashing every other time when the turn is resolved or almost resolved
Latest June 8 patch + Quickfix June 23.

From !Main log.txt:

23:56:01 DoUnitsSpawningFromAbi -1.0 µs
23:56:01 [Critical ] TScriptEngine.Parse Exception caught: Mémoire insuffisante while parsing line 60356 :
23:56:01 [Critical ] THost.GenerateTurnFiles Exception caught: Mémoire insuffisante
23:56:01 [Error ] THost.PostHostProcess Exception caught: Mémoire insuffisante DebugStep: 450

Indicating to me that memory is insufficient, but sometimes it works, sometimes not.

4:36:31 [Error ] TFaction.KillGroup Group is not empty (UID/Name/Count) 1002718 Berzin' Red Army 6

Battle of Simbirsk started with wrong numbers - Kamenev has around 20k - game shows 1300 at the begginig of the battle. Berzin was ordered to load boats.
I tried 4 times with the same result :(

If this is happening at the end of the turn and not impacting play, brush it off.
For me it happens if I play a couple of turns in a row or if I play RUS after playing other games for awhile. Try a restart and see if this clears your memory (or at least the computer's memory).

Some odd things still create crashes, but for me just starting fresh takes care of these.

changed orders for Berzin. he stays at coast instead of loading barges and game calculate turn without crash.

Sorry for your problem, rare bugs, on old games will have difficulty being fixed rapidly I fear.

Should be OK as long as you stated under 1.05a or later...
