Trotsky keeps dying

Tue Aug 23, 2011 7:48 am

ok 3 successive campaign games and Trotsky dies early in each one. This does not happen with any other leader.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Is related to his special train ability?
Next time I will save the game and upload, just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem/

Yes Trotsky dies too frequent and early both in GP and Drang scenario(He is more critical in that scenario) in dozen tries. I tried to not to use him offensive posture/assault operations but after 1-2-3 battles he is eliminated. Next leader is Ulaghi that he dies often.

Ulaghi has never died in my games, Markov the most often.

Some generals have "CombatDeathChance = 100" as the last line in their model file, some don't (Trotsky doesn't). I'm not sure if it's connected, or what it is supposed to mean.

I think it is only for the "imperial family" in Ekaterinburg who is supposed to die when white forces attack the town.

From Clovis:

"...in the official RUS, because of a typo, the death chance of Trotsky is 1 000 rather than 100. Fixed in Fatal Years since months, like many things."
