unfixable crash

The game hung up on me as it was going from turn to turn. I see nothing now in the list of saved games. Is there a way I can salvage this one?

I should note I am using windows 7, and I'm sure the saves are hidden away somewhere.

did you install the game in program files (the default dir)?? If so then win7 has protecions for that folder IIRC.

It sometimes happens with low disk space. If thats the case, as soon as you clear it, everything shold work fine.

I have Win 7 and my saves are in the usual place GAME FILE/RUS/SAVES (they are huge and just erasing a few of old ones should clear up few gigs)
