:bonk:

Very good footage though. Seeing all the face masks made me suddenly realize that the Spanish flu was raging during the RCW. I know there is epidemic events in RUS, but some mention of the Spanish flu might be a good idea.

Fascinating.
One of the films that tell without words. Sometimes wonder why did invention of camera took so long too see more of a past.
Actually seeing the irony and contradiction of armored trains between kırghız tribes in Baikal, angara in film, it is more valuable than reading thousands of books to see the history.

The biggest frustration is when we can read after in the video page that it exist more of this film somewhere in the Army archives in Paris, because it say that this is only 12 minutes of a compilation of 10 films that this team brought back from Russia...

The one who succeed to bring us this films in the forum win a big hurra :w00t: !!

Notes : In fact, i think i understand now why there is Denikin in the film when he is supposed to be far from Siberia, it should be an extract from one of this 10 film which is realized on the West (Southern and northern fronts), not in Siberia.

Merci beaucoup Andatiep. Ces filmes sont magnifiques.

If someone is interested, I have two or three films about the civil war. But I don't know how to post them. One shows the liberation of Poltava in 1919 by the Southern Whites, another shows the troops in Archangelsk and the third show a military parade in Vladivostok in 1922 by the last remains of the Siberian Whites.

How big are your video files ?

If they are too big, maybe you can split them in different parts and upload them on youtube, like this one with FENRIS's favorite holiday train :D : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbBmzEtz24E

I guess there will be no problem with licences on youtube, since this films should be on the public domain now...

No, this is 1922, far east of Russia. I saw Molchanov there, but that is the only person I recognized.

Corto Maltese cartoons also interesting. "Holiday train :D " is good with excellent character drawing.
I remember reading a post about these cartoons when RUS was first published. So I did watch "Corto Maltese - The Gilded House of Samarkand" and found it mostly accurate and excellent.
