Desertation in RUS Gold

Fri Nov 20, 2015 7:58 am

Is it only happening in the turns, where it is noted in the log - or does it happen from that moment on? Is one policing unit per stack enough to reduce it?

As far, as I know policing unit affecting only the division, in which it is situated.

Ok - so not the stack? Not possible to have one policing unit for a whole stack?

desertions affect all elements listed in the ability tooltip in all your forces. The Military police ability reduce the % of chance of ALL elements in a stack to get desertions. So it is enough to put only one MP unit per stack to reduce the desertion effects for all the elements of the stack.

The desertion affect is a nice element, but very hard to counter. I assume MP means a unit with a Police factor?

No: the Military Police ability, as Andatiep wrote (those elements for sure have a Police factor too, and a good one).

Some units such as common cavalry elements may have a Police factor, they can be used for this but are not really trained for; they won't be able to counter desertions (they don't have the ability round in bottom of the detailed numbers).
