Yes, it has always struck me as strange that you have on the one hand, (white) units made up entirely of officers, and yet you can easily run out of generals. Competent generals, I can understand running out of, so why not have at least some generic if-not-very-good generals to fall back on?

Can't add completely new leaders, too much works for now. But :

- Adding some Red leaders from the Campaign scenarios to the Drang setup can be done if you help a bit and give a list of this leader which biography don't say they died before 1921.

- To add completely new leader is too much works for now, but i can replace/rename existing "unknown" leaders which have no biography and no leader portrait if it give a "plus", giving us a new biography and a new portrait. If you can, sure it make sens to have Primakov appearing as KomDiv in late 1919 and Putna appearing as KomDiv in early 1920. Not sure for Mikoyan who never reach the game KomDiv level since he was just a minor Politkom at this period.

Anything new?

I don't mind waiting, but to be honest it appears work here has stopped (at least temporarily). I don't believe it's developed on a daily basis with any news for months.
Perhaps there's an explanation, for example that the other new games come first.

I'm still immensely looking forward to a new version of the Revolution.

I like Evan Mawdsley Russian Civil War around $9 with shipping from Amazon. Davis White Eagle, Red Star on Russian Poland war has tons of information and is a good read. Peter Kenez book, Civil War in South Russia 1919-1920 is also good. You can preview it here: http://books.google.com/books?id=vRE...page&q&f=false. He has another for the 1918 period. Lots of good information. Orlando Figes is suppose to have a massive but readable book on the RCW as well.

The forge have been installed into a deep mine so that the cheka don't hear the noises ;) . But i can certify you that at least a dozen of volunteers are currently working and testing there. It just takes time since none of us can be full time volunteer. Hopefully we could go out from the mine at the end of the summer.

That's all we needed to hear, hope there is progress in the mines :)
Btw, are you also updating the Drang nach Osten campaign, because I am not sure if I should postpone playing it or not?

I still look forward to this, whenever it completes. Have been in my own mines in the interim, hopefully my schedule will let up just at the point the gold version is available. ;)

Sorry, AFAIK, this is to be said that there will be no officialy Gold version.
(EDIT: I was wrong!)
But a Davaï official version is to be expected. :neener:

I don't care what it's called. As long as it contains what would have been the planned "Gold version", it can be called whatever it wants to be called

While in that vein, how about adding Motorola's brigade to the game?

I guess you are currently living in one EU country to be so well informed about the political regim out there ?

Anyway, as RUS Dev Team volunteer, you better go now into that mine to start to work with your comrades, who are some 'nazis citizens of EU' and from elsewhere, and maybe learn the proper use of Historical words with them, instead of trolling around outside.
We still have testing roadmaps to finish.

And no, Germany was never an european country. Impossible. lol
