Ouch!! Could it be possible that the actual file has some decent bugs. I thought that it is still a beta version...?!
I am still using the 1.02a exe file.

On towns and harbors, their 'Level' label is now written as 'strSizeStruc'.

Regarding the way your armies are stuck in the mud, it could arrive in July 2028, you wouldn't have advanced an inch on the way to Moscow, ploutocratic rat !
ChrisD, mais pourquoi est-il si méchant ?

lycortas wrote:So i have continued to hunt down the error in my games turn processing.

I added the 1.02a .exe file in and the turn processed fine.

Using the newest .exe i had my game options set at 'moderate delay' or whatever it is called on battle resolutions. (I like the tension of watching the battles) Under the new .exe, with this setting a battle would start running, with the battle screen running and the game would continue turn processing sometimes starting other battles while my first battle was still running.
As soon as i lowered the battle delay to instant or masked or whatever i stopped the errors.

Even though this should be obvious to anyone with a brain, I am starting to test with a unmodded setup and am already receiving errors when i use use battle delay. Screen will sometimes turn black during turn resolution etc.

This is not me it is this .exe.

Mike

I just had the same thing happen for the first time. One battle appeared over another then the screen went black. The turn continued with a black screen until about day 12. then continued normally. All unseen battle reports are viewable after the turn. (Another curious thing is that, before the battles started to overlap, the commanders displayed in the battle window were incorrect)

so far this has happend just once! thanks hope the save helps
jack

edit: (March 2 played a few more turns of same save with no isssues) :)

Is the patch on target for 1st half of this month? I stopped playing the game until the arrival of the patch and there is a limit to how many times I can raze Washington down to the ground in AACW whilst waiting.

Any news on this patch as I am fed up being on hold. I just do not want to restart the game until after the next patch.

Meanwhile I have been learning how to play HOI3 which as an awfully big learning curve.

Great.

Love the concept and the game but it needs a patch at the moment.

Thank you for the heads up. I shall remove the icon off my desktop so I am not constantly reminded of how much I want to play the game.

Oh well I guess I will have to keep on burning Washington down for a little bit longer. Just cannot bring myself to play for the North.

Any news on the patch or should I give up waiting and try the 1.02b beta and hope for the best?

I am a patient guy but this waiting is testing even me.

I can't say precisely as it does not depend on me anymore (we are waiting for our coder to finish some corrections)
I would say somewhere around the half of june
