Map

Sun Aug 22, 2010 4:13 pm

Let's use the new subforum ;)

Regarding the map, which part will be real map and which off map boxes in Siberia and the far east?

For reference this map is extracted from google books, Osprey's Armored Units of the Russian Civil War: Red Army

More or less up to Omsk, the map is a normal map, after Omsk, we have OMB, but with more or less regions in them depending of the importance of the area.

I.e. the map "re-becomes" a map around Vladivostok in the Far East for example. :)

OK, thanks :)

Then there must be many OMB, are they displayed vertically on the right of the map?

What about a screenshot? :D

It looks excellent, congratulations :coeurs:
Very big map and all the areas are covered. Many OMB and connecting to other regions,

Endless Russian steppe waiting to be explored by the players, winters can be dangerous :w00t:

I guess seasons cycles will be the different from other games,2 months summer, 10 months winter :)

For in game music I propose "Hunt for red october" and "The Song of the Volga Boatmen" by Bulgarian bass "Boris Christoff"..

Yes, Russian winter will be deadly...although some troops are "winterized", a new concept in the engine (better protection against winter effects)... and don't forget the 'worst', the Rasputitsa....the mud months before and after the winter freeze, where it takes a week to move 10 km.... :D

Super...

Je ne peux m'empêcher de voir les possibilités avec cette carte...

Par exemple: les hordes mongoles (invasion des territoires russes)
