May be someone could make a zip file with all the portraits and send them to me by email so that I can check with the artist if he can do them quickly...

Nikel can you do that ?
Philthib, give us perhaps one or 2 more days to try finding other portrait, i remember that Grünne had another title thus there is perhaps a Picture.
Also OneArmedMexican did you start working on some portrait ? Just to avoid 2 similar leaders.
For the portrait, the Khevenhüller 02.jpg is better than the 01. 02 is older.
Also don't forget Trenck on Wikipedia as well as Erbprinz Leopold and Dietrich (Anhalt-Dessau) posted by OneArmedMexican. He did the Old Dessauer.

You have the next 15 days to collect them, the artist won't be available before the 20th of July anyway

I have started work on a graphic set for Trenck. What a murderous scoundrel!

Haven't much time for graohic sets though. But I should be able to get three or four more done before PhilThib's deadline. I will continue to post them in this thread.

Edit: Franz von der Trenck is done. I have never worked that long on a graphic set. I hope it shows. :)

Florent, Nikel could you please let me know once you have send the collected portraits and graphic sets from this thread to PhilThib? I don't want to risk doing work a professional artist is doing far better at the same time.

Beautiful work :coeurs: I think nothing has been send so far thus no problem. You can do thus any Leader with a préférence for Corps Commander.
Philthib should work on the scenarios on 18 july.
Hope that Nassau and Marwitz will be found

Perhaps (for nassau especially) Ernst is not the first name after all. This is taken mostly from Robert B.Asprey Fred Biblio and he did the error on Menzel, i will relook at the Austrian Archives if there is a first name, same for Marwitz.
For the French leaders, it is terrible as there is not much on the net... :(

I am currently working on von Wreech. I usually prefer working off coloured paintings - I hate it when I have to guess what colour hair and uniforms were. But I can switch to the corps commanders after that.

Is it sure that the RoP artist will find the time to do new graphics?

Phil Thib said so...But those you did will be less to do ;)
For the uniforms they are mostly Prussian Blue (dark) and white for the Austrians. Prussian Schulenburg is an exception ( Dragoons uniforms were white in the 1740-45 period. This is the uniform in the game for the 7 YW but at this time they were light blue.

A fascinatiing leader in the game is Austrian Römer. At Mollwitz his sharp eye instantly saw the error of Schulenburg and charged home on the flanks defeating the Prussians cavalry on his flank.

I also like Erbprinz leopold ( a Dessauer son) while often in conflict with Schwerin he was a competent leader with abilities as Master Logistician and Army Administrator whereas Schwerin was Brave and resolute.

Of course the best of all is von Traun, he used Fabiusian tactics to defeat Fred without battle using his light troops between his army and Fred who didn't know where the Austrians were. Moreover he always stopped on superior defensive positions preventing a Prussian attack.
The Prussians lost between 12000-30000 men and Fred recognised that Traun teached him important lessons in the Art of Warfare.
Fred will used superior defensive positions in the 7 YW and show the impact of Traun Strategy.

Finally finished von Wreech. I went overboard and made a much too big original before scaling it down.

Florent, have you already send the portraits to PhilThib or should I start another graphic set?

Not yet, but i have gathered the pictures in a folder ready to send to Philthib, nevertheless 2 pictures are more difficult to include because they are internet links. They are Holstein beck and Lobkowitz.
The good news is they are in color and this is what you like thus if you can do those 2.
I have sent yesterday a version 2 of Units and Models and Philthib should start to work on it today, a 1744 scenario improved will be sent today. ;)

Perhaps Hohenlohe, he lives in Bavaria, perhaps he has some local history books.
I did my military service in Rastatt where there is an army museum in the castle, i will try to find an internet contact to ask for some leaders if available. Who knows ? The Prussian and Bavarian army were well treated in this museum XVII century to Napoleon.

Ignaz Törring is Ignaz Felix Graf von Törring-Jettenbach (1682-1763)?

Then he is also famous for this beer, with pic included :D

Great work! :) It always amazes me what volunteers like you and Nikel do for AGEOD games. It's just as impressive as the openess with which the AGEOD team embraces these initiatives and helps them along.

I will start on Holstein-Beck next (I couldn't find the link for Lobkowitz in this thread ... probably me being blind).

I will contact tomorrow the Ingolstadt Army Museum also for some Bavarian leaders.
