Can not start RoP after installing... (solved)

Mon Jun 07, 2010 8:58 pm

Hi there from Germany,

I have installed RoP and when I have a click on the start-icon on the desktop, I see the official start window with the "Old Fritz" and the "Welcome to Rise of Prussia" etc. etc.

On the button for "select a mod to play" is only <default game>
When I click on "start the game" only a little new window appears.

On the upper window frame I can read only "AGE" and I am able to confirm with a "Yes". After clicking on "Yes" two times the little windows disappears and...nothing.

Andy idea?

Greetings

Because we don't set anything, it is the default directory proposed by our installer (Ino Setup). Now, there must be an option somewhere to force the default directory proposed to another one, sure.

It is anyway bad practice to install games in the OS partition, my opinion ;)

I plead guilty of not having spend much time looking at the issue. Thanks Michael :)
