So far it is turn 13 in the dead of winter...

Gustfire USA (121 vp) vs PascalB CSA (118 vp)

PascalB USA (148 vp) vs Gustfire CSA (119 vp)

PascalB = +26 vp

Edit - Also, will we be implementing the new patch in the next round or will we stick with 1.13b? Personally I wouldn't mind using 1.13b just because I'm used to it

Thanks. Yes, I think 1.13b until bugs can be ironed out of 1.14.

With the official release of 1.14, I'm pretty sure that all (known) significant bugs are ironed out :)

The "known" is the key part. Usually it takes a couple weeks to start getting feedback doesn't it? Of course, this round may not be over for a couple weeks.

Daxil,
I think that we should have a specific date for upgrade (like after this round, but before the next round starts). That way everyone involved will be on the same version at the same time (at least for the tournament). Perhaps a poll? or an executive decision?

As for me personally, I find it to be too much trouble to have 2 different installs on my computer at the same time (I know that somewhere along the line, I will make an oopsie and screw it all up). I prefer only 1 at a time (but I think everyone who is left should be able to voice their opinion).
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I'd like to report the results of Gustfire vs PascalB.

It was a very close game and both players won as the North.

Pascal, as the North, won with a margin of 62 VP.

Thx for hosting :)

It was a hard trial for me coz my greatest problem in this game is the supply requirements :D

A great thx to my opponent, it was a real pleasure to challenge with U on this stuff.

Thanks again for hosting, Kyle.

Thanks also to my opponent, congrats on the win, I learned much from our play, good luck in future games.

I made some costly mistakes of omission and commission, but I've learned from them, and will do better next time.

BTW, it was really confusing trying to access the Ageod Forums.
Thanks to Kyle for letting me know of the changes.

The last "2" games are still dragging along. Due to the fact Pocus/PhilThib are on vacation till early sept it doesn't make much diff. We should have a couple good AARs going soon for the 4 3rd rd. games in progress.

My match (and Cobra vs.) Sunray is on turn6, I will be posting an AAR of my match with a 6-7 turn lag to not give away too much strategy and map information.
Should be middle of this week for 1st posts.

Finally, the Longhairedlout vs Jdt games have finished.

Long won his game as USA at 193 VP vs 163 VP.
Jdt won his game as USA at 213 VP vs 143 VP.

Long had 336 VP vs 376 VP from Jdt, which passed the bracket with 40 VP surplus.
