Wed Feb 10, 2010 4:35 pm

Paradox just released an interview with me when I was in Stockholm last month, Check it out (and forgive the French accent :mdr :) .

Here's the original press release with the linkz.

Rise of Prussia Scheduled for March 9 Release, New Developer Interview Explores the Game’s Focus on Seven Years’ War

NEW YORK – February 10, 2010 – Paradox Interactive and AGEOD released a new video interview with Game Director, Philippe Thibaut, delving into the companies’ upcoming military strategy game, Rise of Prussia, and set the game’s release for March 9 via major digital distribution outlets.

Rise of Prussia takes players to an 18th-Century military conflict seldom covered in games or popular culture, placing them in charge of one of two sides involved in the Seven Years’ War. The development team’s focus on historical accuracy is evident throughout the game, as players lead the Prussian-British coalition or the alliance of Austria, Russia, France and others into battle. Can they repeat history and lead the Prussians to victory, or will one of the bloodiest conflicts of its time end differently in the player’s hands?

The video interview with AGEOD’s Philippe Thibaut can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlOFXZn3KAU

More information about Rise of Prussia will be revealed as the release date approaches.

Excellent interview and no problem about the French accent as British have way more problems with the French language anyway.

Finally!! Good news!
For one grandsire stood with Henry,
On Hanover's Sacred sod,
And the other followed "Harry"
In the Light Horse' foremost squad.
And my grandsires stood together
When the foe at Yorktown fell;
"Stock" like this, against oppression
Could do naught else but REBEL.
