Has anyone seen this bug before? Game freezes during turn resolution when black pirate ships are firing at their targets. Can only return to desktop at that point. After years of owning and starting, but never finishing PON games, I determined to complete a full GC as France. After 5 weeks of steady gaming (I'm at year 1871) this bug comes out of nowhere and now recurs every second turn or so. The game is slow enough without this constant rebooting!!! Any ideas?

Other people reported similar problems that were solved editing the save file and removing the problematic unit(s).

You may edit the save file with a text editor.
