Early access to all colonial actions as Prussia

Does anyone know how to give Prussia early access to all colonial decision cards? I know how to navigate the files, and I assume the colonial decision texts have to be modified from their current minimum date and then placed into the GC 1850 folder...right???
Has anyone done this and could give me a sentence or two of direction?
Thanks!

The easiest way is to find the
GER Events.sct file (in the
VGN\Events folder).
Search in this file for "Kolonialverein1882".
You should see this:
Code: Select all
StartEvent = evt_nam_GER_Kolonialverein1882|1|2|evt_txt_GER_Kolonialverein1882|Event-img_GER_Kolonialverein1882|$Brandenburg|NULL
Conditions
MinDate = 1882/12/06
MaxDate = 1899/12/31
Probability = 50
[....]
Set Probabilty to
100 and change the MinDate to
1850/01/01.
I hope it will do (haven't tried it myself). If it does, at the beginning of the second turn you will have a popup announcing the creation of the
Kolonialverein, and all colonial options will be there.

Excellent! I'll give this a try. Thanks, Siegfroh!

Update: I did as you said and placed the modified text into the GC 1850 folder, but it never fired. That folder also seems to not contain normal looking event texts. Should I have placed it into another Event folder??

Do you think the faction name in the event title should read PRU instead of GER, since I haven't formed Germany yet?

Never mind! Fixed it! I had pasted in the wrong text. Found the problem, ran it, and it works!
Thanks again.
