Yes, exact copy of my post on the Paradox forums, but I've been thinking about this and it seems like a good idea.

-As the CSA you start off with an interesting economy which gives you plenty of goods but no war production (and in desperate need of somewhere to sell your goods to, if possible as well as import war goods). The choice of course being building up a war industry against building up an army.

-As the Union, low morale but plenty of potential for military units, industrial production and steady immigration.

PhilTib (and rest of AGEOD team) enjoy your holidays and think about this idea......
