Keyboard Shortcut Reference Card

Mon Jun 13, 2011 11:53 am

I posted about this on the Paradox forums, but I thought I would post about it here as well to insure it isn't overlooked.

The Shortcut Keys and Commands that are hidden away in the Appendices in the PoN manual are incomplete. An easy-to-print-out Keyboard Shortcut Reference Card would be a big plus.

Here is an example of what I am referring to:

I feel that a reference card such as the above would make learning and playing Pride of Nations much easier and enjoyable.

It's an excel file, but of the last version (2010, IIRC). The extension is .xlsx
You can open it with an old version of excel, you just need to download a compatibility fix from Microsoft (OpenOffice opens .xlsx files, too, I think)

thanks pocus

here is an older .xls version - slightly reformatted to fit on one page (i hope)

you can also open the .xlsx files in the free OpenOffice software suite if you don't have microsoft Excel

Download and install Excel Viewer. You can get it free from Microsoft.

Will there be a key for the crisis window?
A key to cycle thru national regions or cities would be nice too.

I notice T/Y for naval units doesn't work. T get me trade zones. Is there a way to cycle naval units. Getting them out of port sometimes is a struggle with me clicking several times :)

OK have tried (CtrL) T and still no joy. Never seen this issue with my AGEOD games. How does one cycle between naval units?

Hi. I don't know how to upload a revised file, but it seems to me these are some corrections / updates to be made to the spreadsheet:

CORRECT KEY(S) ..... LISTED KEY(S) ..... ACTION
* DEL SUPPR Remove one move
* DEL SUPPR Remove the stack if just created (from the unit build interface)
* E CTRL-E Previous land stack
* R CTRL-R Next land stack
* D CTRL-T Previous naval stack
* F CTRL-Y Next naval stack
* PG UP ..... N/A ..... Zoom out
* PG DOWN ..... N/A ..... Zoom in

Also, clicking mouse button down does not do max/min zoom for me, but I think that could be because I've reassigned my mouse button as double click in Windows.

You may have already figured out, but it's D & F for fleets.

Hope this is helpful.
