Release Date, System Requirements and Cover revealed!

Just found this really interesting piece of information on the Paradox forums:

System Requirements
Operating system: Windows XP/Vista/7 (Does not support 98 or 2000)
Processor: Pentium® IV 1800+ MHz
Memory: 1 GB (XP) or 2 GB (Vista or W7)

P.S. IMHO the cover art and the loading screen of Victoria 2 are quite similar...

The cover screen is absolutely NOT the final one...this is purely temporary.
As for the release date, we are on target the moment :thumbsup:

Personally I much prefer the original title 'Vain Glory of Nations'. Pride of Nations isnt half as punchy and is very similar to most other strategy titles that seem to come out. But anyway I dont think I will be buying this game as I dont like the look of the computerised screens compared to the more hand-drawn arty ones of your previous games.

That is one of the more interesting reasons I have read not to purchase something. For a coat, or a scarf, yes I would agree that it is really contingent upon looks, but, for a computer game?
